Today when I saw the question ''What are your inspirations after touring the exhibition?'' on quiz paper, I just stucked there. What are my inspirations? What did I get from the exhibition? It seems nothing comes across my mind.
Actually, I didn't tour all the panels that set up in school hall, but I did go through the training to be an exhibition guide for it.
Sorry that I'm a forgetful person, I just kept recalling back yesterday in school hall, but not the training on last two weeks. So the answer that I had written down is, ''Every exhibition guide made their effort to educate the guests, this is very great.'' Hmm, YJing complaint this was short if compared with what I written on blog. I do think so haha. .
I started thinking of it again at home, a lot of things come across my mind now. I remember that the girl who trained us had mentioned ''Courage'' is needed to promote a peace culture. She gave an example, when we saw an old people standing on the bus, we need courage to stand up and give our seat to her/him. If another young people sit the place without giving priority to old people, we have to be brave to ask him/her to give the place to the old people. We definitely need courage to do a good deed. For exhibition, we also need courage to talk and educate the guests, especially the narrators whose English is not their mother tongue, including me, need more courage to do it.
The trainer did mention existence of nuclear weapon. It made me become more aware of some countries that still using nuclear weapon. War would just make people suffering a lot such as pain and hunger. The victims would also lost the hope of life because they will lost their family and friends from war.
One lives in peace would only lives happily in this world.
I feel fortunate that our country is not using nuclear weapon to solve problems like what other countries done. But then, we should promote the peace culture to avoid one day like other countries would happen, because some people who easily get influenced might use the same ways to solve problem.
I also realise violence is not only using nuclear weapons, there are also other violence that always happen around us such as robbing, fighting and even minor violence in words such as insulting.
Imagine how uncomfortable with these violence acts in our live.
I shall remember the words I keep telling to guests in my last panel.
''Josei Toda believed that since human created atomic bomb, so we as a human, have the responsibility to take action toward nuclear abolition.''
So, creating a peaceful culture is our responsibility.
Everything starts with one ( last year exhibition LOL), we should start changing ourselves to live peacefully. We should also continuously educate others like what we did in exhibition, including the narrators and guests in exhibition, because people might be forgetful like me.
We all should think deeper about it.
